Hi there,

If you’ve come here to find out more about the Life Group for new believers, and those who wish to understand the Bible better—congratulations!

This group is one of those run by Alverstoke Evangelical Church. It’s aimed at a specific type of person and it will have two-edges. First: to help us understand what it means to be ‘in Christ’ (a Christian); and secondly to enable us to see more clearly what the Bible has to say about what this life looks like.

You would be very welcome to join this group, which will be starting in April (2018), but, numbers are limited.

Priority will be given to new believers and/or those who have previously expressed an interest to do ‘Veritas’. Note: this group requires a high level of regular attendance—in other words we want your commitment. Why? Because each session builds on the previous one, and you’ll get the most out of this group by prioritising coming along. It will also be more fun if we all decide ‘we’re signed into this’.

It will run from 7.30pm through to approximately 9.30pm but may spill over into discussion after that. The learning, or training in understanding the Bible, is very interactive, and colouring is a great help. In other words, bring along your own set of coloured pens! These pens are great (and you can more colours). How cool is that!

If you want to know more, please post a comment here. Or: for more information, either contact myself (you should have those details from church) or download this document which gives much more information about the programme we’ll be working through.
