The church has a leadership team that is currently made up of four men. Together with these is a practical team heading up various areas.
Colin Dyer (Pastor) joined the church in 2002 from Fetcham Community Church in Surrey. He worked part-time for that church for some seven years and was also a printer. He is particularly responsible for heading up the leadership team and is involved regularly in the teaching and pastoral care ministry. Colin and his wife Carol have five boys.
David Wiltshire is married to Joan and has three daughters. He works at Portsmouth University having trained as an engineer. Alongside his role on the leadership team, David is also involved in the youth work at AEC particularly with the ‘TribeNite’ group for Year 6 – Year 9 children.
Phil Royle is a teacher, teaching Geography in Mayfield School, Portsmouth. He works with the Junior aged children and he’s married to Gem. They have four young boys. Phil came onto the leadership in July 2013 and also is actively invloved in teaching the children of Junior school age within the church.
Andy Bruno (Assistant Pastor) mostly grew up in a village in North Yorkshire called Burton in Lonsdale. He worked as a ministry trainee for Moorlands Church in Lancaster, who sent him to Oak Hill College in London to train for full-time ministry. Andy came to Gosport in 2017 and is excited to be serving the church and making disciples of Jesus as assistant pastor. He enjoys coffee, music and current affairs.
