The Church

Church is essentially a group of people of all ages who follow Jesus Christ. However, if you walked into one of our main Sunday services, you would find that there are others who have come along because they want to find out more about Christianity. Usually, these people have been spurred on by events in their lives to look out for something more in life.

 

We are not a perfect group of people, far from it! But we’d be dishonest if we didn’t say that we trust that Jesus Christ is making a real difference in our lives, for the better. We are convinced that Jesus Christ is really worth looking at. His life is exceptional, and the more we learn of Him, the more we become aware that we just don’t live life right.

 

When we say this, we don’t mean that those who don’t go to church are terrible people! What we mean is that we don’t realise how badly we relate to others until we see what Jesus is like. When we seriously look at him we find that consistently, we do not have his qualities of compassion, honesty and acceptance and he shows us up for what we are
